# AhsayCBS

AhsayCBS (Ahsay Cloud Backup Suite) is backup server software for service providers and IT teams. It can store backups in a Zata bucket that you add as a **Predefined Destination**.

## Before you start

* A bucket for the backups. AhsayCBS does not create it, so create it first. See [Create a bucket](/buckets/create-a-bucket).
* An access key from the same region as the bucket. See [Access keys](/access/access-keys).
* AhsayCBS installed. [Download AhsayCBS](https://www.ahsay.com/en/download).

### Installation notes

* The installer asks for the ports AhsayCBS uses. The defaults are 80 (HTTP) and 443 (HTTPS). If another program such as IIS or Apache already uses them, choose others, for example 8080 and 8443.
* After **Finish**, the console opens in your browser. Log in with the default user `system` and password `system`, then set a new password.

## Set up AhsayCBS

#### Open the basic system settings

On the AhsayCBS dashboard, under **System Settings**, click **Basic**.

#### Enter the Zata details

Enter a **Name**, for example `Zata`, and fill in the other fields from the table above. Click **Test**. A message that says **OK** means AhsayCBS can reach the bucket.

#### Save the destination

Click the green **+** button at the bottom right to save. The destination now appears in the **Predefined Destinations** list.

## Test it

Back up a small file to this destination and check that backup data appears in your bucket in the Zata console. Then restore the file to confirm it can be recovered.

## Troubleshooting

| Problem | Fix |
| ------------------------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Test** fails with a bucket error | Create the bucket in the Zata console first and check that the name is exact. |
| Access denied or invalid credentials | Copy the keys again from **Access Keys**, without extra spaces. The key must be from the same region as the **Host**. |
| Cannot connect | Use the host name without `https://`, port `443`, and tick **Connect with SSL**. Allow outbound port 443. |
| AhsayCBS does not start after installation | Ports 80 or 443 are used by another program. Reinstall with other ports, for example 8080 and 8443. |
